Whats so Dirty about "The Dirty Picture"?

I happened to catch this much hyped movie, this sunday and found nothing to be so DIRTY in the whole movie. I felt as if, i was waiching any other movie, not the one which went into so much of critisisms off late. It took no time, for me to understood that, there were many sceane deleted from the movie, which would have supported the title.
But i liked the preformances of all the characters in the movie and mostly the OHH LA LA.... (one of my recent favourites..). I felt, that i am taken back to the era, of brilient cinema making. I tickeled myself with a thought that, what made the censpor board to give a "A" certificate to this movie , when most of the sceans were deleted.

But the movie was good enough to create a balance of the cine ethics of 80's with today's quality. The story was more narrative and this helped to understand the story. I felt a little of predictiveness in the story as might be the time it was implying.

The dialogs were fresh and powerfull... same ONCE A UPON A TIME impact, but this time it was more to tickel your body. To my analysis, the dialogs were more adultrious than the story and the sceans itself. The major supporting pillar to the whole movie, were indeed the dialogs, which were able to bind the audience with their chair.

I loved hearing Bappi Da singing after so long time and it was a treat to listen, the feel of 80's music was well recreated by Vishal - Shekhar. The background sets gave a feel of Jitendra dancing in his song from films like Tohfa, Himmatwala etc. The cinematography was awsome in some places, but failed to keep up the feeling in the entire movie.

The story also lost its pace after interval and it felt dragging itself till the end. The character of Emraan Hashmi was not well written, which made him look unrelevent in the whole movie. I didnt see any need of having him in the movie.

Since this movie was a women oriented movie and more of fiction in nature, i would have enjoyed a more powerfull script to portay for Vidya Balan. Although, I have no second thoughts on the power of screen pressence of Vidya Balan, but due to the fading importance of the story, has left her character to look more synpathetic and meanier.

I would rather suggest all you guys, to actually go and spend sometime watching this movie. Dont expect anything in mind rather from seeing some good perfomances and some good music to hear, as there is no DIRT in this movie to call it a DIRTY PICTURE.

Petrol prises down...should we feel happy??

Oil companies reducing the pertrol prices by 1.80 rupees, should be a matter of joy. But why i am feeling that, if they could affors reducing the prices then why they raised it. The explanations seems to be fake now, when they say that they have been presurized by government, when goverment do not control the prises of fuel in india.

Its not less than a joke, these people are playing with our lifes. They are manipulating the economy as and when they feel like, its like their propritory thing and they have a full right to do that. People are happy, as the priced reduced,  but they dont see that when oil companies were so much helpless that they didnt have any other option left apart from taking this dicision then how come they agreed to the decision of governement.

I strongly feel, this probably happened, out of the fear and insecurity of the ruling party when they see there is a possibility of people turning back from casting vote in the coming elections. One thing i want to understand that, atleast for onetime , cant we think straight for not commiting the same mistake, lik e what we do every time?

I remember, the time when mumbai was into attacks, people went ahead shouting anti-government slogans, walking in rallies doing what ever they feel coule show their disintrust on the current government. They also made a decision that mumbai will not vote in the coming elections, but what happened.. nothing. People shamelessly went to vote and came back happily.

How shameless we are that, we change happily change our decisions so easily that there is no importance left in our decision. What ever we did at that time was not to show the anger but to get public showlight. To keep bleeding mumbai as a platform and stand on it and get the limelight.

Now the same thing is happening, we are happy because the prices are gone down. But we hardly feel, that the % decrese per liter price is just a cake which is given by the oil companies infront of us , so that we shamelessly go and caste our votes and then soon after return to the same condition and start cursing on what we did.

We dont have any right to curse anyone, when we ourselve are so wrong. We know, people against whome we are crying and shouting, were from our place and it was us who made him sit on our head. We generally misunderstood the power of voting system of any country. People generally, take this as a thing-to-do and show, how efficient thay are?

Efficient voting system is a way to let common man decide the future of the country. Its not a responsibility, its a privledge which is given to each and every citizen of the country. It is a chance given to us, to eigther build or ruin our future and we are not thinking on this.

Still we have time to change this whole scean till it makes an irrversible damage. I dont want a governemnt which is so helpless, but need a strong democracy which will ensure our coming generations are in safe hands of which they should feel proud of.

Do you mean what you say??

Saying something and meaning the samething are two different things. Its very easy to commit something, which will benifit you in some other ways, but then living up to that commitment, is something very different. Saying "I LOVE YOU" and meaning these 3 words are entire different.

This is something common in today's teenagers, that they commit that they love someone but when it comes to sticking to the commitment, it is very difficult. They feel sufocated when they are told to be commited to one relationship, this is because of the lack of understanding the difference between love and infactuation. For them, everything is love, which is not right.

Today having a relationship is not for loving someone , but it has become a status symbol. They feel that they will not be respected, if they are not having a girlfriend / boyfriend. This creates a mental block amoung the teenagers, who come from a conservative or narrow minded community, where these type of relationships are not entertained. People are ready to do anything to get into a relationship, but they dont realize that this is something, which might eleviate their status in the college but will take their life into a never solving loop causing a pychological block.

The realization of what is true love is something, not expected at this age. People needs to be sensible and mature to understand the difference between love and infactuation and media has played in creating a never bridged gap. They have showcased the feeling into one heading and that is love, which has confused today's teenagers.

The rate of failed relationships along with the rate of psychological damages has increased exponentially in our country. One has to tackel this whole thing, very carefully and intelligently. It is the responsibility of the parents to counsel their children and make them understand the essence of an relationship. Children understand this concept nicely when they can relate this in their family. With every growing year of the child, these emotions become very prominent and he/she tend to relate everything he sees to himself.

This issue is something very important than any other issues, hunting the teenagers today and because of this confusion they are not able to focus into those fields , where they should focus. Each one of us should take this responsibility to counsel our friends , our siblings, anyone who comes to us with their problems.

Is it right to take out taxes from those events which are minting heavy money?

I am quiet conveinced with the ideas or views put on this issue that , why should government take out taxes from F1? One strong hold is on the point of considering F1 as a sport or just as a medium of entertaintment. I have also seen people comparing F1 with cricket, saying that, if BCCI is able to mint so much money out of this, and then also the tax has been taken out from BCCI, for organizing cricket.

Tell me one thing, why people are not thinking of taking out the taxes from common man. When the whole economy is trembling, inflation is rising. Its the common man like us , who are getting sleepless nights just be thinking, how hw will pay the taxes? when the problem is in feeding a satisfying diet to his family, he has to sleep half filled every day. Why there is no debate on taking out taxation from the common man?

People have made this issue for proving their points, thats what i can realize from yeaterday's  debate on a news channel. They have left no stone turned, to make people understand that, whether taxes should not be taken out from F1? by comaring them with the poor people's sports.

What is understand that, we are living in a country where the economy status of the masses is taken only as a point proving instrument, and people keep on saying us POOR. I grew, listning that INDIA is a developing country and we are in a road of becoming a prominent star in the world economy... seems too positive. But now i hear that INDIA is a poor country. I am not sure, what to believe? whether INDIA is a developing or it is POOR country.

The point is, people do not hold any thoughts when they pass these type of comments about the country or its people and then go out laughing, and claim to be most patriot when asked. So i rightly mentioned this in one of my posts that the patriotism is fading. Patriotism has been over powered by the weight of commercialization and power.

The question is not of evading tax from F1, the point is why F1 is allowed to come to india? and what is the point of shouting top of the voices, when the race is over. It was the same people , who were proudly showing the circuit and people were clapping at its grandure, then why now ????

A Common Man

"Why common man is not consider for getting the national recognition?", a thought always comes in my mind whenever i see any award ceremony. I am not saying that everyone who is getting an award, has done nothing for this country, but is it that the patriotism is only defined by the amount of social recognition of an individual.

For me, each and every person in this country carries the same feeling , same love for this nation and silently scarifies for this country. It is the common man, whose hands drives the economic wagon of this country, but as a result, what does a common get. The sweat and blood which he puts in driving this, is ripped by someone else. then who is the real hero.

Prominent people from prominent areas like films, cricket (I noted cricket out of a sport, because today it is something above any sport) etc are getting awards, but are they really the ones who should be getting this recognition. One should realize that, today they are famous because we have made them famous, today they are rich because we have made them rich. A film is successful when we make it successful, but does we get. These people don't even get time to meet with their fans, those people who pushed them to this height, where whole world is recognizing them, but they don't have time to even say THANK YOU to these people.

It is our money which they are enjoying on, we spend hundreds of money to buy a ticket and see the movie, regardless from where this money is coming from and this is the same money which goes to these people as a profit share, what do we get out of this?

I appreciate the legends who have given their lives, to make our tradition, our music breath. For me they are the heroes not people, who take money for even say "HI" to people. Think of the cricket team, they are the most lucky people. They are minting money, even though they win a match or loose a match, as they know that what ever be the situation, money will come to them.

We often say, we are getting more and more into the shoes of western culture. But have anyone thought, who is responsible for this, who is responsible to take us away from out culture, our tradition, our values. It is we only who are responsible for all these, we have opened our hands to welcome this culture from those, who once tried to cripple us. We fought with them for 150 years but what is the use, we are still slaves of the western influence. We call it as "OPEN MINDEDNESS". I am not against being open minded, but there is should be always a dividing line between open mindedness and well rooted individual. One should not forget his / her values, which their parents have taught them for their whole life.

Well... i don't want to get into this discussion again , but coming back to my point. If we, the common man, has built the class, has made people rich, has given our share, has included them in our lives. Then how should we feel, when the same society feels bad in meeting and talking with us, in understanding our problems and then we award these selfish people.

For me the real hero is that unidentified, faceless group of people, whose spirit runs the city. Although, we have forgotten our power, but it is not that we cannot change anything. If we can build this class then we can break that also, only we should realize the true power of being COMMON.

A thought, as heavy as a stone !!

A thought, as heavy, as a stone,
Sat on my lonely soul,
Making me helpless to remove,
Sitting still, not ready to move.

I wanted to inhale,
Some fresh air, of fresh lands,
I opened my mouth for the touch,
for those unique little hands.

I see a small village, infront of me,
beautifull and quite in its own,
small paths, crossing big fields,
and fields dancing in its own.

A thought, as heavy as a stone,
Sat on my lonely soul,
wanted to stay there for sometime,
away from the thought, of being alone.

I looked myself in the stream,
the water as so cold and pure,
flowing freely and happily,
without any pain or sore.

I lost my identity,
dont know , who i am ,
always wanted to be one of them,
but failed to become a man.
